Some studies deal with many hours of interview audio recordings, and transcribing them yourself will consume a great deal of your time and energy.
We can help save you time and energy, with our fast, accurate, and reliable professional transcribing service.
Overview:
Our transcribing service provides a fast, reliable, accurate, and professional transcribing solution for all types of audio and/or video recording.
The transcribing process involves your designated transcriber listening to an audio or video recording and typing the contents up into a word document, providing the client with a written record of what is on the recording. Typically, transcribing services are used for research interviews or job application interviews.
The transcribing of your audio recordings is required in certain cases, such as by universities when submitting your research. Some of these studies deal with many hours of interview audio recordings, and transcribing them can be an extremely tedious process, and a huge drain on your time and energy. Our experienced transcribers can help save you time and energy by providing a fast, accurate, and reliable transcribing service for all types of recordings.
We do not use transcribing software in any form for our service. There are many limitations and problems with using transcribing software, for instance, software is unable to make the distinction between the relevant target voice and other voices in the background. Using software also require a clear and discernible voice, which is not compatible with speedy talking or particular dialects, and usually results in countless confusing errors in the transcribed document, which will ultimately hinder the progress of your work. Additionally, the software cannot make the distinction between similar sounding words and sometimes even confuses fillers such as "ers" and "ums" for other similar sounding words. With our service you can rest assured that your work will be transcribed by a real, live human with extensive experience in transcribing similar recordings.
If you instruct them to do so, your designated transcriber can also indicate fillers (such as "um", "er", "cough", and "sigh") in your final transcribed document.
Who will be transcribing my work?
Your recordings will be transcribed by one of our professional experienced transcribers, who will have a minimum of 10 years experience in transcribing similar recordings, and will be familiar with the specific needs and requirements of your work.
What will I receive from you?
We convert all your recordings into a professionally written document - this document will usually be sent to you in Microsoft Word format (unless you prefer a different file format). Your transcriber may also add some annotations and comments to the document if there are any important issues or questions about your work which they wish to clarify with you.
